Meet Our Staff 
Mary Regan, CEO/Owner Mary R. Regan, MS, LPC, LMFT, RN, BCSAC, CEAP, SAP, is an Employee Assistance Program counselor and a mediator in Lafayette, was President of the Acadiana Chapter of the national Employee Assistance Program Association (EAPA) from 1994 to 1997. She has been active in the national, state, and regional EAP associations since 1986, and has been a speaker at the annual meeting of the national EAPA. She has served as President of the Lafayette Parish Medical Society Alliance, the Vermillion Parish Domestic Abuse Program, and Pollux House (a home for girls.) She is a past Member of the Board of The Extra Mile, the Vermillion Parish Domestic Abuse Program, Governors Commission For Women, Governor's Commission on Health Works and of the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women. She is also a past board member of the Acadiana Safety Association, and is a Member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Nurse, a Licensed Addictions Counselor, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and is qualified as a Substance Abuse Professional. She also has specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1986. She achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri, in 1982. She received her education in Nursing at Tulane University and Mather School of Nursing, graduating in 1960. She completed training at Loyola University Law School, New Orleans, in 1999 to become a Qualified Mediator. Mary Regan is founder and owner of Acadiana EAP, LLC, a full-service, privately owned external Employee Assistance Program Company in Southwest Louisiana. Christine Lerille McGill, Operations Director Christine Lerille McGill, MS, LPC, LAC has been with Acadiana EAP since 2000 and presently serves as the Clinical Director. She has a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. She has over 13 years experience in counseling families, couples and individuals and provides therapeutic services to employee assistance clientele. As clinical director she provides consulting services that include; leadership, management, and executive coaching, corporate training and group facilitation, crisis response in the workplace and organizational consulting as well as coordinates EAP programming and supervises clinical staff. Melanie Pharr, Director of Training Melanie Pharr serves as the Director of Training Services at Acadiana EAP. She received a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. In her current role at Acadiana EAP, she provides consulting and training services to a variety of companies, specializing in the areas of team building, conflict resolution, leadership training, supervisor coaching, and crisis response in the workplace. Melanie also provides counseling services to children over six years of age, adolescents, and adults. Her approach to counseling is based on the needs of the individual or therapeutic situation and places particular emphasis on the counseling relationship in the realization of goals established during the counseling process. Katherine Small, Office Manager Katherine is a native of the Acadiana area and is responsible for many office functions primarily financial, although she wears many hats when needed. Her efficiency, motivation, attention to detail, and general desire to do the best job have been and continue to be greatly appreciated. Jenny Ougel, Administrative Assistant Jenny is a Louisiana native of Lafourche Parish, and has been working here at Acadiana EAP since January 2006. Jenny is an integral part of our staff involved in many administrative duties. She is gifted in setting our clients at ease, both on the telephone and here in the office.
